Campus Action and Meeting Points

Join a University of Guelph Rally and Zombie Walk to Mourn Poverty and Mark the Death of Affordable Education!

10:30 am: Zombie face painting & placard assembly for the rally.

11:30 am: Speeches and music in the University Centre Courtyard

12:30 pm: Student march & zombie walk from the University of Guelph campus to downtown Guelph.

University of Western Ontario

Come by the table to help distribute Drop Fees postcards and OHIP petition drive in the UCC. We'll be there from 10:00-4:00

City: Mississauga

University of Toronto Mississauga Action

11:30 am: Meet at the UTM Student Centre for free food and t-shirts. Watch local performers and practice your chants & cheers.

12:15 pm: Busses will take UTM students to the Ontario College of Art and Design for 1:00 pm, where we will march to the St. George campus

*Buses will be returning to UTM after the Queen’s Park rally

Nipissing University

1:00 pm: Banner drop and rally at the Student Centre

Venue: Morisset Library Terrace at the University of Ottawa

University of Ottawa

11:00 am, Morisset Library Terrace at the University of Ottawa
Ottawa-area campuses and community groups will converge at the University of Ottawa for a city-wide march through the downtown core

12:00 pm, Human Rights Monument (Elgin St. & Laurier Ave.)

Join a mass rally to call for change!

Carleton University

10:30 am: Meet in the Atrium (4th Floor of the University Centre) to rally and get bused to the city-wide action downtown.

*Buses will be returning to Carleton after the rally at the Human Rights Monument.

La Cité collégiale

10 h : « Pep Rallye » a la cafétéria de La Cité

10 h 30 : Départ des autobus (lieu de rencontre a la residence)

13 h : Retour aux autobus

University of Ottawa

10:30 am: Meet on the Morisset Library Terrace at the University of Ottawa to raise your voices and rally the campus for the city-wide action.

St. Paul University

10:30 am: Meet on the Morisset Library Terrace at the University of Ottawa to raise your voices and rally the campus for the city-wide action.

Venue: Champlain College
City: Peterborough

Trent University

9:30 am: Meet at Champlain College to get bused to Toronto for a province-wide action

12:00 pm: Bus drop-off at Sidney Smith Hall, University of Toronto, and march through campus to join a city-wide convergence at Convocation Hall

*Buses will be returning to Peterborough at 5:15 pm, after the Queen’s Park rally

City: Sault Ste. Marie

Campus Actions and Meeting-points:

Algoma University

11:30 am: Rally on the front loop outside of the main entrance. The loop will be closed to traffic for speakers and refreshments

12:30 pm: BBQ lunch and musical performances

*Food Drive - Participants are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations to the rally.

University of Toronto, Scarborough campus

11:00 am: Meet in the Student Centre to get bussed to the city-wide actions downtown

Noon: Bus drop-off at Ryerson University to march through campus to join a city-wide convergence at the University of Toronto

*Busses will be returning to UTSC after the Queen’s Park rally

 

Venue: Cul-de-sac at Parker building
City: Sudbury
Starting: Thursday, November 05, 2009 (2:00 pm)

2:30 pm, corner of Paris St. and York St.

A city-wide convergence of students and community members for a march through the downtown core.

4:00 pm: Mass Rally

Join a mass rally at Tom Davies Square (with speeches and a meal in the foyer) to call for change!

Laurentian University Action

2:00 pm: Meet at cul de sac at the Parker Building get bused to the city-wide action.
